Sleep.

the film festival made me feel terrible the next day. It ended to early to call my parents to pick me up, so I had to walk home in the pouring rain. When I finally got home I was drenched, hungry, and tired. I towled of grabbed a granola bar and slept. I woke up at 3:00 pm and I felt like I wasted a lot of time. That night i went babysittting which was ok once the kids went to bed. I started flipping through the channels and I came across a show called Jon and Kate plus 8. They had a set of twins then tried for one more and had 6! It's a really cute show about family. The lady I was babysitting for said it made her feel better about having two kids

Starlight Movie Festival

So tonight is the starlight movie festival at the galaxy. I didn't go last year because I'm the type of person that needs sleep. My friend Grace is making me go. When I get home from school today I'm going to take a sleeping pill and sleep till I have to go, so I am well rested. Some of the movies that are playing this year are Hairspray, the Simpson's movie, transformers, spiderman 3, I really can't remember the rest. I think I might set my coffee pot timer on so I can have a good wake me up before I go. I think we will go early so we don't have to stand in line forever.

Dr Phil.

After school yesterday I went over to my best friend Grace's house and we turned on Dr. Phil mostly because we were bored. I was wondering does Dr. Phil ever actually help anybody or is he just there to criticize. Also Where did he get these people? Most of them are crazy. Like what kind of person would get angry at their kids to the point where the climb onto their roof and yell and cause a scene in the middle of the night. I think that more people would watch his show if he actually solved problems that might come in handy. I guess people just like to watch things for the drama aspect not the actual helpful bits. I have to admit the odd episode is helpful but for the most part its full of nutcases.

P.s I secretly like his catch phrases, like "Do you think I just fell off the turnip wagon?"

yesterday

For some reason I got a really big urge to garden..which is kinda weird. I ended up over at my Grandma's helping her garden her backyard. So we ended up running out of things to plant so we went to IGA. We kind of went crazy when we got there because we bought ALOT of plants and a hanging basket. So we finished up in the back. I do relize this story is pointless. I just can't think of anything else to blog about...

The Nintendo Wii??

Ok, so my family bought one of those wii things. We have really been getting into "play". I actually think the game causes stress levels to go up. My dad yells if we walk in front of the tv, he yells when he doesn't win and he has a ridiculous passion to get platinum medals in all games. He wastes hours of time and sometimes he actually won't come to the dinner table and whatever we are eating goes cold. I just think it's crazy because I don't even like the game.

why Sunday's Suck and Death at a funeral is amazing

I've decided that Sunday's are almost just as bad as Monday's becaus eyou spend the whole day dreading Monday.

This weekend I wastched a movie called death at the funeral. Definaltly don't remember laughing so hard in a long time. It's pretty much all about the antics that take place during a funeral. Overall I highly suggest you just watch it and see for yourself.

What's coming up

So tonight my grandparents are coming down because tomorrow is the Gilmour street yard sale. They are very lovable but they have some annoying habits. Last time I went to visit them they woke me up at 6 am because the paper man was "late". They hopped in the car and drove around their neighborhood looking for him. That night I stayed up late watching television and I saw my grandfather come out of his room with a flashlight..which I found very amusing because he has lived in this house for over 50 years and still needs a flashlight to navigate. Anyways they LOVE garage sales so they get excited every year to come down and buy junk they are just going to sell the next year. So I would just liek to point out that this is two weekends in a row of being slightly uncomforable. Although I do really love their visits.

My terrible experiance.

Yesterday I got a call at lunch it was my mother informing me that my little sister was going to be playing her basketball game at p.c.v.s. She also rambled on telling me that she wanted me walk her her home. What she "forgot" to tell me was that the game ended during fourth so I had to take her to the last 25 Min's of my history class. Defiantly another terrible experience. Mr B (my history teacher) Gave her a big high five and had a nice chat with her. My sister also of course didn't forget to tell the class at least some embarrassing things that have happened to me. Mr B wen to the front of the class and said "I don't know about you guys but I'd rather have Charlotte in this class than Gillian. Of course everyone agreed. I do realize he was joking but my sister was thrilled. The short and short of it is that my sister really really likes my teacher...which is a bit weird. Anyways to make my day even worse I got home and realized that my incredibly dim puppy Sam decided it would be fun to turn my bedroom into a disaster area. I'd just like to point out that the weather also sucked yesterday.

Until next time

The start of a new blog and the end of a hellish weekend.

On the weekend my parents decided it would be "fun" if they dragged me away to the somewhat deppresing wateraccess cottage they call a "summer home". The question that frequently came to mind this weekend was why not save the fun until summer than? So I thought I deserved to bring a friend up with me. I asked if I was allowed and my mothers response was we only have four potatos. So that was it I was stuck with my parents and my insane sister(shes 11 and thinks shes a beaver). So we finally got to the marina and managed to all get across in one piece..well technically two pieces because I was driving a diffrent boat. My father went under the cottage to get the water connected and there was a big fat sheet of ice. At this point I would like to point out how right I was not wanting to come. My whole weekend was stuffed with freezing half to death, getting forced to take my father fishing in the windy rainy weather, and waking up in the morning frozen. When I was finally thinking it was time to go home my fathers boat stalled. The usaul 5 min boat ride turned into 45 mins in the rain towing the boat to the marina.

at least the suffering is over
until next time
